Best Baby Deals 2024

Oct 16, 2024

Just so you know, What to Expect may earn commissions from the shopping links included on this page. All sales and prices are accurate at the time of publishing.

If you’ve been searching for a sale worth shopping this week, you’ve likely been directed to Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. But as I’ve been collecting and sharing the best early deals ahead of the October event, I’ve also uncovered plenty of other discounts across the internet worth perusing — and you don’t need a Prime membership to access them.

Every week, I make it my mission to help What to Expect parents and parents-to-be save on baby essentials both big and small. And I always have my eye out for a sweetly priced self-care treat for mom (or dad). Below, I’ve put together a list of my favorite alternative Prime Day deals.

Gap makes some of the best maternity jeans — bar none. Whether you’re in need of a petite style that actually hits at the ankle or prefer the look of an inset panel, the retailer offers these options and more. Even better, nearly everything is up to 60% off right now. So if you’ve been holding out on adding a pair to your closet, take this as your sign to invest. (Psst: these leather leggings are also massively marked down from $70 to just $27.)

This a gentle reminder that there are only 28 days until Halloween (yay!). So if you haven’t figured out a costume for baby — and don’t exactly want to DIY an outfit— you’ll be happy to know that Pottery Barn Kids’ pre-made bodysuits and three-piece outfits are up to 40% off. Ranging in size from 0M to 24M, you really can’t go wrong with any of the picture-perfect options, but my absolute favorite is the brand’s take on Beatrix Potter’s classic character.

Target Circle Week returns on October 6, but there are a number of early deals to snag. Case in point: a select number of nursing and feeding products are up to 30% off, including the Willow Go Wearable Breast Pump Kit, which is nearly $90 less than its retail price. What to Expect moms share that they’ve had zero leakage issues and appreciate the gentle suction.

But it isn’t the only early Target Circle Week deal that caught my eye: Vitamins are buy-one-get-one 25% off; select baby bottles are buy-one-get-one 30% off; up to 40% off select floor care items (the likes of Roborock, Shark and Bissel), and select toys are up to 50% off (rumor has it Lego sets will be 30% off next week).

I’ve never been pregnant, but I agree with moms-to-be that Beyond Yoga leggings are buttery soft, supportive and worth the splurge. (I reach for the brand’s biker shorts more than any other pair I own.) So when I saw that these maternity leggings — with a high waist you can wear over or under your bump — were a whopping 50% off, I just had to share. Available in three fun pops of color (Cali Blue, Indigo and Coral Glow), these vary in size from XS to XL and should be true to your pre-pregnancy size.

Sticker shock from gliders and rockers is real. Brands like Nurture&, Babyletto and Namesake will run you around $1,000 or more for motorized reclines, spit-up-proof fabrics and stylish silhouettes that feel just as much at home in a living room as they do in a nursery. But this early Way Day deal (you read that right — a fall version of Wayfair’s two-day sales event is taking place October 5-7) knocks nearly $100 off a parent-trusted brand’s slipcovered swivel that rivals the aforementioned luxe looks.

If you’ll be pregnant, nursing or toting a baby around this winter, you’ll need a coat to keep you and your little one cozy against the elements. And the Valetta is a three-in-one parka perfect for any stage of pregnancy or early parenthood. It’s also under $200 right now. Parents especially love the faux fur-lined zip-off kangaroo panel that will keep your baby bundled while in a carrier or sling. If this isn't your style, don’t fret. Consider one of the many Seraphine maternity coatsincluded in the brand’s Mid-Season Sale.

Bargain hunting is my job, not yours! And if you're constantly looking for more ways to save on baby and parenting products, make sure to bookmark this page and check back often. I plan to update it regularly with the latest discounts and must-have items to make your parenting journey a bit easier (and way more affordable). For instance, I know that Gerber will be hosting a sitewide sale starting tomorrow, October 4. Multi-pack onesies, matching family pajamas, Harry Potter exclusives and more will start at just $11.
